Wilder

He must be smarting now, didn’t he say the squad wasn’t good enough to mount a promotion challenge or was it just him not wanting to be there ?
Used this as a dig at the recruitment team because he didn't get the players he wanted......too arrogant to think Gibson wouldn't sack him? Thought he would collect a tidy payoff and walk into another job straight away?

Whatever, he dragged a decent squad down with his sh*t system and p*ss poor man management. Always someone else's fault.

He didn’t want to be here following the Burnley debacle and basically ‘downed’ tools after that without really saying so…whinging about recruitment, critical of the players, everyone else’s fault, sub standard players.
Obviously this affects players performance and we now look the set of players we are…play off contenders!
Wilder is a Shyte manager. Simple. A charlatan.

He must be watching and squirming as a novice manager does a way better job than he has done

Fry and Chuba surplus to requirements says it all really

One thing that does surprise me is Paddy not being involved with carrick's plans. A season or 2 ago he was one of the 1st players on the team sheet
When he came in people were saying who should go and who should stay - but all managers have their preferred style of play. Some players will come in and play a bigger role than under the previous manager , while some who were in all the time will drop down the pecking order

Wilder was doing a great job at destroying confidence undermining a number of players. We were struggling big time - to prove a point that the squad was nowhere near good enough he seemed determined to prove.

Lots of posters couldn’t believe the players were as bad as results we got and performances showed.

Thankfully we got rid and what a difference. Wilder was a disruptive, arrogant piece of work who was using our club in my opinion.

Could well be out of work for quite a while. Or possibly not! Apparently he is “of interest” to Norwich!!

Hmmm. Sort of. He initially came here to keep us up and succeeded.

He stayed on to get us promoted and fell well short.
Warnock, even in that short space of time, took us as far as he could. We would not have progressed past 10-12th.....and with his announcement of his retirement at the end of the season Gibson was a bit between a rock and hard place as to how to move forward.

Sadly Wilders appointment didn't go to plan 😬

I was livid at the treatment of fry but there were plenty on here going on with wilders narrative that he wasn't a good enough footballer and should be offloaded. What utter nonsense that's proved
