Will Boris be back? ....

Problem with the petition is anyone can sign it - Tory member or not. I have signed it :ROFLMAO: It emails some dude at Tory HQ. I used Johnson's email address and signed him up to the mailing list.

It is a farce but it is no surprise that the Telegraph never looked into it properly before publishing that online.
Why on earth did you sign it? It only helps to embolden the clown (and encourage the Party to make it happen) to return.

Johnson has published a less than clear letter about his meeting with a KGB officer in Italy following the Skripal/Salisbury attack. Legal expert David Allen-Green sums it up as:
"As far as I am aware" will be on his tombstone.

"As far as I am aware, I didn't believe the gun was loaded."

I think he'll fancy another crack at some point.

The reason he's backed Truss is that apparently it might open a route back in sooner than anticipated, given how criminally incompetent she is.

1. I don't think that it would encourage the party to make it happen

2. But if it did it would rip the party to shreds - all the better for the next GE

They don't need encouraging that much - just read the depressing Torygraph to understand that.

Anyway am more concerned on the split in the Labour ranks. Utterly depressing to read the debates yesterday re Rail Nationalisation frankly. The issue won't go away

I agree. Not sure why Labour love the infighting more than Tory bashing!
