Worst Boro player you've ever seen?

Parnaby is a bizarre choice, he was a decent player. Not a world beater but a good and versatile squad member. Arca had some really good games for us till he knacked his toe and lost what little pace he had left.

Michael Ricketts was AWFUL but without him we wouldn't have won the League Cup. That goal away at Spurs in the QF and his penalties were vital. The rest of the time he was a fat mess.
 
I'm suprised no fecker has mentioned Rudy. We shelled out in excess of 10mil with wages.

He's a forward (used loosely) who scored 6 league goals in 4 years. I think Ayala scored more.

In terms of money and performance on the pitch he has to be right up near the top.

Many of the shocking ones mentioned were loans. I guess it's not as 'bad'.
 
I happily recall singing "We all dream of a team of Parnaby's" after his goal in Stuttgart.

You coukd go on forever naming your worst Boro player, a few names mentioned in the years 81 - 86 if they didn't play for the Boro they would have been on the dole, some were that dad, I look at worst players as someone who has had some sort of career in the game, Gestede, Rickets. Mido those 3 players, well established, were just awful

Just looked up his Wiki and surprised to see he signed for Braga not long after leaving us! Then to just retire after only a few games.
 
Another one for me, even though I HAVE HIS ASC winning tankard, Phil Boarsma, awful & record signing
Though he played really well v Arsenal in the FAC when we won 4-1

I thought Parnaby did ok. Covered RB until we got a decent player in at that position.
Worst I’ve seen would have to be Alan Wright.
