Worst Boro player you've ever seen?

This is a "betting without Fabio" thread.

There are probably hundreds worse but my thoughts are occasionally afflicted by how limited Stuart Parnaby was and how he managed to forge a reasonable career from such a smidgen of ability.

Let's hear them but keep it on a professional/technical level. In keeping with which, I am reliably informed that Parns is an top bloke.
 
Dong Lee Gook. Unbelievable he has played over 100 times for his country and is the record goal scorer in the K League
 
Someone always mentions Caleb Folan despite only playing 20 minutes for us.
I've got a few in mind, Kris Boyd, Kevin Thomson, Alex Nimely, Jason Euell.

Kike Sola.... I watched him for 45 mins and didn't even think he looked like a footballer. His stats from other clubs were shocking. He played 45 mins at home to Blackburn (I think?) and taken off. Then a random 5-10mins somewhere else. That's it.... 55mins in a half season loan.

You seriously had to wonder what Karanka saw in him? I wonder how much in loan fees and wages we spent on that 55mins or so? 🤔
 
Someone must have made a few quid from the Kike Sola transfer, no way anyone who knows football could look at him and think he would have been a success

Nimely has to be the worse I have seen, just had a look and he is playing in the national league north which is no surprise.

Nmecha is another for me
 
Nicky Bailey is one of the worst players I have seen but seem to be loved by many. He is an average non league standard player, people loved him cos he flew into a tackle but so unfit and could barely run and technically woeful. Never took to him at all. He’s not the answer to this thread though but just thought I would throw him in the mix
