York Friendly

Just spoke with Katie in York City ticket office again.
She insists the emails will arrive within a week and everyone will be able to print tickets ok.
She then went on to say if you haven't got them after a week get back in touch.
Not confident after that comment.
I am sure I will be ringing her next Friday.
 
Went on holiday yesterday, still without emails, got a phone call today with location saying Reading.

Hadn't answered it but the voicemail said it was about my York tickets.
Tried ringing them back within 5 minutes of the call and all I got was voicemail, yet again.
 
My print at home ticket has just arrived via email. I don't know if it was coincidence but I emailed the York City ticket office at lunchtime asking where it was.

I doubt it because I didn't email them. I wonder if this is anything to do with it.

Could be. I hope it works out for them, I live a few miles south of York and have a bit of a soft spot for them. Went to quite a lot of matches at York one season back in the 80s when I couldn't afford to travel to Boro games regularly.
 
Mine came today too. Now I can move on to the next problem: best way to get between the station and the ground on what's likely to be a very busy Saturday afternoon
