All of that would still be the case if it was self funded, which they could do 1000x over and still not even notice.

Also the bank holiday isn’t gifted by the royals so that argument is just bizarre, it’s again funded by the tax payer

Eh ….. I never said or implied the bank holiday was gifted by the Royals though did I, to suggest I did is a bit bizarre. It was clearly gifted by the Government as an additional day to mark the coronation, It would not have been gifted otherwise now would it. I am sure the King could self fund and perhaps should contribute a big whack of money toward some of it too.

It disgusting After all it’s not even needed either he’s king the moment the queen died. So we have the obscene spectacle of a man paraded through he streets of London in a gold coach as those looking on can’t afford to put their heating in of feed their families.
