Your most obscure Boro 11

You could probably make a whole team of academy products who played once or twice, then were never seen again:

Bilal Brahimi
Nathan McGinley
Harry Chapman
George Miller
Bryn Morris
Jordan Jones (who I think went to prison??)
Sam Folarin
William Kokolo
Jack Robinson
John Johnson

Zucolini and Lombardi are good shouts 👏🏻

I remember getting excited about Lombardi at the time, when South American signings were still a bit of a novelty in the game
Don't think Lombardi kicked a ball for us though did he?

So like Ricardinho (and Arturo Berhardt 😉), he doesn't count.

Danny Coyne

Jordan McGhee
Frazer Richardson
Phil Whelan
Micky Barron

Mark Wilson
Herald Goulon
Caleb Folan
Isaiah Osbourne

Ben Hutchinson
Jaime Moreno

Viv Anderson.

Certainly not an obscure player but one you only associate with being a coach. Played against Arsenal I seem to remember? Also Bryan Robson’s last pro game.
Also may have played 1 or 2 Anglo Italian games? Could be wrong.

Started against WBA and Barnsley away in 94/95 according to Boro Bible and was named as a sub wolves away and derby at home.

The WBA appearance has a 'd' next to it but i cant see what that represents?

You know the type of player the one where you mention their name in the pub and some one says… what they played for us???

So only condition is they must have played a senior game for us pref in the league if poss.

Pref from riverside era so as not to get too obscure and long winded.
David Knight

Damia
John Johnson
Alan White
Jack Stephens

Jay O'Shea
Milos Vejkovic
Bruno Zuculini
Ronnie O'Brien

Tom Craddock
George Miller

I remember the Barnsley away game, absolutely torrential rain in an uncovered terrace. We bought ponchos outside the ground, which were bin bags with holes cut in, for a pound.
Anyway Viv was the best player on the pitch.
