What a disgusting, uninformed, presumptuous and condescending pile of nonsense.Scandalous scenes of Liverpool fans' behaviour from last night's Champions League Final on social media. If you haven't got a ticket, don't jump the fences. They more than most know what atrocities that can lead to.
How on earth they can continue to play the victim is beyond me. It's also frustrating how the media pander to them and refuse to call them out for it. Must be the fault of the locals, the police, UEFA...
In my experience of the twisters and fiddlers it's not sufficient to have cheated the system they need others, particularly genuine people, to know they've cheated the system. Once this was limited to close associates now with social media it's the world.Have you got examples of this bragging? Seems pretty stupid to me to brag to the world you have a fake ticket. Like that moron above who managed to get his pensioner father in (that’s not stringent security). I see he’s deleted his Twitter account.
He can expect a knock fairly soon.
Agree, but the fans wouldn't have listened. The French authorities and UEFA should have expected this - European finals, ridiculous ticket allocation, fans travel en-masse hoping to get a ticket or just soak up the atmosphere. There certainly seems to have been no arrangements in place to check tickets prior to the fans getting right to the ground/turnstiles - it was just a farce, with, once again, innocent fans caught up right in the middle.Clearly it was chaos from organisational perspective and many decent innocent fans were caught up in it. That being said Liverpool as a club must have known about fake tickets and the potential of fans trying to gatecrash. Liverpool could have issued a statement prior to the game saying not to travel to the ground without a ticket please do not endanger the lives of fellow supporters.
