    F*CK VAR

Trouble is that it is very difficult for refs to be correct every time, especially in fast moving play often obstructed by other players. Rugby does better with refs and var communicating to the audience via PA. But footie players and fans have never accepted authority when there is the chance of...

Can the UK rejoin the EU?

The sooner the better - Brexit is a disaster

    Pyridine found in crabs

Yes indeed the idea of free ports is a gift to criminals of various hues to make a few bobs with no real beneifit to the wider community but will create some local jobs.

Why don't we ignore the World Cup

This cup stinks in every way. The treatment of migrant workers the obvious corruption of FIFA who accepted the brides etc etc. Just ignore it.

    My take on today

Yet again they let someone run behind to chip the ball onto a strikers head. When will they ever learn are they thick. Don't let your man get away for gods sake.

Nobody will ever convince me the system wasn’t the problem

The proverbial game of two halves, Jittery defense of a corner and not much coherence in the play. Second half they woke up from a long slumber and seemed to be enjoying the game. Hackney earned his spurs all it needs now is for Crooks to get his hernia sorted and there will be life in the old...

Boro - "The Sack Race: From Southgate to Eternity" - long read. [r00fie1]

It is nigh on impossible for fans to assess what is going wrong. The chairman keeps his council and the rest stay silent. All we can see is that recruitment has not as yet produced a better squad. Worse the squad is weaker than last year. Maybe the cash is not available, the decision making...

    What’s going wrong?

Well it looks clear that the powers that be are not improving the squad - in fact it is getting worse. Could be that financial restraints areto blame but there is a argument to say that two top Championship players would be a better bargain that four or more also-rans. Whatever the reason if...

Why do we support boro dad.?

With me it was my young son who chose the Boro years ago and I was drawn in by attending the Riverside. What appealed to my young son was Juninho and Robbo. Young son is now an honours graduate working as an actuary but still attends all home games. Strange are the ways of fandom.

Does anyone actually think that was an improvement?

Agreed but there were a few improvements ie use of Subs but still some silly mistakes. Dijksteel very nearly gave a goal away with a sloppy "pass" without looking and Watmore was kamikazi head down when a simple pass could have produced a goal. Work in progress but as someone said "the squad is...

For every minute she talks there's 2 minutes clapping

These speeches are a waste of time for anyone looking for solutions. Just rabble rousing slogans of supposed intent with no back up real action plan, just wishful thinking. Why do folk still expect these vain self important clowns to solve real problems.

    Just my thoughts exactly.

    Wilder sacked

It had to happen things were falling apart and he lacked humility. I won't miss his pre match interviews rambling away for hours it seemed going nowhere. Lucky we have Leo to steady the ship for the next manager.

    Wilder Rumours

I'd be happier seeing Wilders' Coventry Press spiel

Has Kieran Scott added any value at our club?

The trouble is we don't know how the management structure works and what the restraints/oportunities are. We do know that it is not working though.
