We have our polling card….whilst we get a chance to vote for the candidate in our area, do you also get a separate vote on the major also ?
 
not sure what Sunak does now. I get the feeling that a lot of his MPs want him gone but also quite like their salaries and a bit of time to find new jobs so not sure whether the letters to the 1922 will happen.

I think his best bet is to hold the election during the Euros or The Olympics, now.
 
If (when) Ben loses expect Sunak to call a June election, he won't wait until October.

I want Ben gone, massively. I expect a lot of people won't vote for him not because of the Teesworks scandal, as your average North East voter will likely not have been following it, but purely because he's a Tory (hence his latest antics on his FB page, trying to distance himself from the Conservative Party).

Either way, if we get rid of him on May 2nd, better for everyone (well, maybe not Corney and Musgrave.)

I think most of the Tory MP's have just accepted their fate, with Sunak the lesser of three evils.
 
I think he will hold on for as long as he can and the Tories can’t get rid as he is a strange and petulant little man and if they try to remove him, he will call a GE citing the many changes in PM in the last 5 years. The Tories are in a no win situation, call it soon and many Tory MPs will lose their seats, call it later and they risk losing even more seats. The 4% cut to NI doesn’t even cover most peoples April rise in bills. I know it’s only what I have heard from several lifelong Tories but those I have spoken too have said they are either changing their voting intention or simply not voting. Good Riddance.

I think he's hoping UK at Olympics & England at Euro's have excellent results & a bump in feel good & he'll go then.. I fear what we'll actually see is rioting in France & fan trouble in Germany..

Yeah, because of Purdah he announces it in the run up to either with the election happening while one of them is going on.
 
Can definitely see behind the scenes the Tories frantically trying to get as much ill gotten dosh in their offshore accounts as possible, while simultaneously trying to destroy all evidence/trails of their dodgy dealings. They know their time is up and political annihilation is coming.

Kind of getting the picture similar to the last days of Saigon in1975.....Tory MPs jumping on the last helicopter out of Westminster, with their suitcases full of money, kicking their assistants, SPADS off as there is no room.......
 
Enough letters will go into the 1922 after their May 2nd thrashing. Sunak knows he’s going anyway so he’ll call an election early so that he can get the benefit of the summer in California, having probably already secured a good job in one of the tech companies. Don’t know which tech company, but check out recent large govt contracts and it will become obvious.
