Surely we aren't going over this again? You get offered a multi year contract at Ajax going into the final year of your current deal meaning you'll be 28 and contract-less yet you'd turn it down because you're 'settled'? No chance! It was a crazy move after years of being a nomad on the fringes
To leave a side he was settled

When he deserves a start he'll get one.True. But from a purely footballing perspective the move has been an absolute disaster for him.
Team bottom of the league, and can’t even get a look in off the bench at 5-2 down.
He's training with them every day, if he was impressing he'd be given a go.So you don’t think he’s good enough to play for a team that’s bottom of the Eredivisie?
Sounds like a lucky escape for us, then

You must know better than their coaches
They are indeed, but there's a big difference between trusting a kid and an experienced player you've signed for £12m.It's not as simple as that though is it?
That's like saying Hackney couldn't have been good enough when we were desperate for a central midfielder under Wilder last season because the experts didn't pick him. Sometimes.....coaches are wrong.
I'm starting to believe that we could sign him on loan in January. Whether we should or will is another matter.
Shef U wanted to partner him with Archer didn't they? They'd have plenty of money for a loan covering his increased wages you'd think.

Or ever!Think I’d rather stay at Ajax than go to Sheff Utd right now!
