Nice touch but isn't Paddy B struggling with serial injuries ?I'll get pelters for this, but IF we lose Chuba, I'd love Bamford back. I think he'd be perfect for that number 10 role, and ideal for Carrickball too.

Not true.Boro always factor big transfer fees received so - if the agreed fee is £20 million - Boro would get about £19 million straight away.
Had lots of issues with a fit injury, but that's fine now I think.Nice touch but isn't Paddy B struggling with serial injuries ?
Ramirez, de Roon, Spence, Gibson - all factored. Not true.
I agree ..... and if any potential suitors were watching how he performed on Wednesday, in a high pressure match, you could probably halve that valuationIt was obviously an over exaggeration, Archer is worth at the most £12m IMO
If he was worth what people were saying on here, more than Watkins was bought for btw then he would have never have left villa.I agree ..... and if any potential suitors were watching how he performed on Wednesday, in a high pressure match, you could probably halve that valuation
I honestly wish Chuba Akpom the very best and really hope he stays. He’s onto a good thing with Carrick imo.. if I was him I’d be looking for an improved contract. Hopefully the players we bring in improve his standing and chances of playing in the prem.Payero isn’t coming back, deal already agreed and they know they can buy him and sell him for more straight away. I expect these rumours to be used for Akpom’s agent to get the best deal for him, at 28 and after the season he’s had this next contract is massive financially for Akpom. I feel he’s happy here, but at the end of the day it’s his career and the agent is employed to get the best deal he can wherever that might be
Good shout, watched him for England under 21s. Was very goodTrafford for Bolton looks a decent goalkeeper.
On loan from Man City.
Or if they watched earlier on in the season against Sheffield United in another high pressure match how he turned the game around with two clinical finishes then you could probably triple it.I agree ..... and if any potential suitors were watching how he performed on Wednesday, in a high pressure match, you could probably halve that valuation
This. Unfortunately, Chuba will be at a bottom-half Premiership club by the end of August and good luck to him. Once he dropped back to 10 he became a different player and we will sorely miss what he gave. He was crucial to the style of play; he had skill and strength. Can Crooks play that role? Possibly. He knows where the goal is but his close control is suspect and he lacks the dynamism to arrive onto the ball at speed in the box.We simply cannot afford to risk losing him for free, or worse, him not repeating his form next season AND leaving for free. I can't see a scenario where he agrees a new contract when in mid-May there are already a plethora of online articles from PL fans saying their club should sign him this summer. I honestly think he's going to be inundated.
You could add Tav, Traore and Bamford to your list. I was referring to how you factored in the payments, guess you were being ironic, fair play.Ramirez, de Roon, Spence, Gibson - all factored.
Who else has Boro sold for significant money in recent years?
It’ll be entirely different under MC for payero but perhaps he doesn’t realise that and needs to come back to experience itDefinitely worth bringing him back and giving it a go if he’s up for it. Payero could become our Gus Hammer
