Anybody Just see The Ending to the England v India Womens ODI at Lord’s?

👍 😂 So speaketh Ian Baird’s ears. Whinge has an “h” by the way. Winging means something else entirely.
I apologise for my grammatical error Cardiff daffs.... unlike me but nonetheless that's the rules of the board...spell your whinges correctly...😊 and I shall not moan about it I will learn and be sharper next time ))

The Indian bowler has stated that the English player was warned several times before the Mankad.

If this is true I have no sympathy for her.

Rebuffed by the England captain. I tend to believe her...the bowler claims the umpires were repeatedly told also. The look on their faces after the incident suggest otherwise.

This all sounds very uncomfortable. Heather Knight is calling her a liar.
She is indeed calling her that. As I say, look at the faces of the umpires. Hardly suggests they have been told numerous times it was coming. That's just my take of course.

Someone should ask the umpires themselves.

Knights statement is very clever. Makes it clear she accepted the legality of what was done, says India deservedly won the series. But...don't lie about my players.

A detailed analysis by ESPNcricinfo's Peter Della Penna, who checked every delivery of England's innings since Dean's arrival at the crease, showed that she had left the crease early 72 times, before being dismissed on the 73rd occasion.

interesting analysis via the link showing how often she left her crease early.

The umpire can clear this up. If he confirms she was warned fair enough. If not then Sharma has just poured oil on the fire by being a liar.

Have they analysed the Indian players in similar detail?

He only mentions the England innings on the twitter feed ( very interesting) . Charlie Dean is the only England batter who consistently leaves the crease. He puts a summary at the end stating Charlie Dean is not cheating but runs the risk of this happening.
