Adam Forshaw would have looked a much better player under MC I think. Playing as one of the double pivots and driving forward with the ball when space allowed.

The game has moved on so much in recent years.. bit of a tough ask to put Carrick into a different era.. likewise with players.

Lee Tomlin would have been immense in the 80s with his skill set.

David Bentley was an old school player not suited to the new world.. probably years.
