Ayling

Great to hear he’ll be signing. I was a bit unsure at first but his attributes both on and off the pitch will be a huge asset.
 
His wife and her parents were sat behind me at the game today. Not sure where they're from but they had strong south accents.

He's been a fantastic signing in a position we were struggling with. Its a great signing if true.

Well that’s a deal breaker then, we certainly don’t want players here whose relatives have strong southern accents - Carrick certainly won’t stand for it 😵‍💫

Not just playing with so much joy but actively affects the team dynamic and his general play is very good and his crosses are very good
He has so many attributes to offer he’s like a breath of fresh air.
I imagine he is brilliant in the dressing room.

I agree, I had him down as a decent short term fix, but not someone who had a prayer of being here next season.

He's made himself virtually essential.
 
Surely talk of Leeds going back for him is just ridiculous given the big deal that was made of his departure in January.. that looked pretty terminal to me.

It’s clear he wants to play games and rightly backs himself to perform well at the top end of the Championship.. which all points to a shiny new deal with us!

Since he ‘found his feet’ so to speak….he’s been a 7.5/10 every game, solid defender, never loses his focus, we badly missed him against Leeds….
If you don’t see the value of Ayling yet you need to go on a football appreciation course (give the club a ring) 🤣🤣

I think Michael’s comment was aimed at the poster who claimed Ayling has only had one good game.

Strange outlook on it considering we are at at least another 46 games away from being a prem team. Also one good game… Are your eyes painted on?
