Highly doubt we were ever in for him at all, even in the summer. Club will use it to justify that they tried when we end up with no one this month
I wonder what the lad really wants .
Certainly would make sense a little bit of who blinks first . I’d wager both clubs are ‘ encouraging’ him to drop his wage . I guess it depends on how much he wants to play .
As I mentioned his wage demands must have been mentioned last time & that could have been the stumbling block, which the Boro would have said right at the beginning, you know what our terms areif you want to sign, maybe all the talk was from his agent & not usI wonder what the lad really wants .

Mst likely all his agents side of the talksHighly doubt we were ever in for him at all, even in the summer. Club will use it to justify that they tried when we end up with no one this month
We've seen those before, agree I would sooner we bring in a younger, unproven footballer, if any, than a has been who hardly plays but was once goodJust not what we need... from the link:
Last season @ Sporting Lisbon scored two goals & five assists in 25 matches.
Since 2016 (2 years injured) just 32 Everton appearances with two goals & four assists.
We should be looking to younger & hungry players that want to progress, not someone living on their, long past & even then, debatable reputation.
Yep as I thought, all from his agent, well said Neil
