Got Bilongo, but I assume he'd be a bit too raw/unproven.

He's 22 in a couple of months, ok he missed out from a technique perspective on years of pro training, but he's been around the first team squad for the last year and had a year or so training before that. It's now or never for him to be a first team squad player.

You'd have thought if he was in the picture / Carrick's thoughts he'd have had a few run outs in some of the dead rubbers towards the end of the season?

I'm getting a tingly feeling thinking Giles is a done deal. We surely wouldn't be letting Bola go if we weren't close to getting a LB signed up?

It's not like we've sold our best midfielder on the eve of the season starting, seemingly with no plan to replace him before, that would be idiotic.........
