Bournemouth gonna bid 10 mill for Tav

Yes, agreed, not enough. He's one of the best young midfielders int he champo. Got to be asking for 15m and add ons. Leeds are obviously interested and there might be one or two others. I'd prefer him to sign a new contract, but if he leaves it has to be for more than 10m.

£10m is not enough - yes, he's still a prospect though has enough about him to be worth more.
We'd need to replace him.... I'd rather keep him.

& the big plus is - yes he'd get better wages for a season - then he'd probably be in the Championship again & there are more established clubs to aim for. I was him, I'd not be interested in them - bigger fish..

Not enough for me. Hope he stays and signs a new deal
£10 million in his last year isn't too bad IMHO, if he was mid contract you'd obviously expect more. I assumed with the signing of McGree and Boyd-Munce he was either leaving, or the club was preparing for him to leave.

Just adds to the rebuild, I wouldn't be massively happy with Howson as a starter next season, and he hasn't signed on yet anyway. Crooks had quite a few poor games, McGree looked good in flashes, but lightweight and not much of a battler. Even if Howson isn't signing on we need two starting centre mids for me if Tav leaves.

*edit
(I assuming there is truth in the Payero is away too stories)

Wouldn’t be surprised if Spence was followed out the door by Tav, Fry and Jones for a combined £40m to £45m. Capitalise on them now before their game time is limited by new arrivals.
Can see Wilder completely rebuilding with Howson off as well. Only one I would be desperately disappointed to see go out would be Djiksteel. I don’t think Wilder is particularly wedded to many of the current squad. Exciting times ahead.

I hope he stays but if he only has 1 year left and no extension in sight then we cant afford to lose him for nothing. When we signed Mcgree I wondered if it was a contingency for losing Tav. We would need a replacement though, especially if Mcgree gets to the world cup and they do ok. Wilder did say there would be a couple go for decent money. Looks like he might be the other.

Are you mental why bother even turning up

We’d have no body left

This how I see it as well, as Duffman said above not sure that Wilder is a huge fan of the squad. If he won’t sign a new deal and we are offered this sort of money presumably he will be off if he fancies the move.

If we can nudge it up a bit then I'd say accept and add it to the budget. Tav's good, but as mentioned earlier inconsistent, and I've never been 100% sure where we ought to be using him. Would he have been a first choice at any of the teams promoted this year, because that's the standard we need to aim for.

With money to spend losing him feels like a problem that can easily be worked around.

Wel have to get what we can even if that’s £10m if he won’t sign a new deal . It’s in his own interest to stay imo especially if he’s happy at the boro . Maybe 1 year extension and sold next season if we don’t go up
