Deli Alli to Everton for £40m

Looking from the outside, seems Mourinho totally destroyed his confidence and for whatever reason he can’t find a way back? Thought he was genuinely world class at the last World Cup!

Sounds like he needs to forget the money side if it and dip into the championship and enjoy just playing football regular to get himself back to where he was
With some parmos and pally fanny thrown in?

Honestly I wouldn't have him on a free, even with Everton covering his wages.

Reckon he'll be at MK Dons in a season or two?

Hadn't he already fallen away from form before then?

No he was finished before Mourinho even came to the club, his form actually picked up for a little bit when Jose came but then he soon reverted back.

I didn’t say he’d get the privilege of a plum championship club but the lad obviously needs regular game time somewhere

It's so strange what's happened to him. I thought he was genuinely outstanding a few years back for a sustained period of time. He seems to have just lost everything that made him so good. Even stranger is the fact he is only 26!
Have you seen the All or Nothing series when Spurs were covered? Mourinho was coach at the time and an episode catches him trying to motivate Alli. Mourinho says you've got the talent and could push on, or end up back where you started.

It seems he's doing the latter of the two.

Rumours circulating suggesting for every so many appearances for Everton, they have to pay Spurs £10m...upto a maximum of £40m, therefore, they're trying to offload him so they don't activate the first tiered fee.
