Djed on his way back

He's clearly not garbage and has the raw attributes to do very well at this level and potentially higher. Forest wouldn't be panicking now about a recall if he was "garbage".

It's horses for courses really, he was never going to fit into a Warnock system but Wilder plays a very different type of football with more emphasis on attacking full backs.

Being happy away from the club may mean that he's ready for off, regardless of manager. Sometimes a player needs a change of scene to pick his career up.

I would go further than that and say it is surely about Chris Wilder selling him a vision of his future plans for the Club and Djed Spence playing a part in that. If he does it right I would say that there is every chance that he would want to return to the club revitalised. The way he has performed in the last 8 weeks at Forest has convinced me that we should be making every effort to have him back and playing his part in our future.
 
Interesting. I would dearly like to hear some positive things to be uttered by Spence regarding us. If anything has been said I have missed it.
 
Hard to justify letting him stay there right now anyway, we're still in with an outside shot of the play-offs and Forest are a direct rival now.

Especially not if we continue to play a formation that he's apparently thriving in at Forest.

Yep. Hopefully he comes back on fire. Hope he wants to come back too.
 
Forest are our rivals for a top 6 spot - its damaging fo us if he is playing well there. I don't see why we can't rotate Jones/Spence in right wing back position and keep them fresh or wide right in midfield. Jones also played wide left at Fulham with Spence on the right in the last 20 minutes and it worked well for us.

outside shot ? 30ish games to play and only 6 points off, hardly outside !
 
If he comes back, I suspect that Hernandez will be released back to Norwich. pointless having 3 players fighting for RWB.

Should release funds for the problem positions GK, CDM,CF

Left footed centre half would be nice too. Suspect we would need to get rid of a goalie, Uche, and Siliki back to his club for all this to happen.

must be pretty much a given that Siliki is going isn't it? I mean he has ACN in January taking him out for 3 weeks, he has made no impact on this manager or the previous one. Also we need space to register new players in the squad.

You would think so. Might be tough to get rid of a goalkeeper though. Maybe someone may fancy Lumley on loan. Think Uche will get a move

.............Spence (whisper it so Middlesbrough don't hear) was superb going forward throughout, showing a telepathic understanding with Brennan Johnson. The former played a perfectly-weighted pass for the Wales international to run on to, and Johnson, in turn, laid it on a plate for Grabban to slot home in the centre.
 
Since the second week of his loan - Trees have watched in amazement at the treasure Warnock let go......

Seems nailed on to come back unless someone is paying big bucks for him .
Not sure how long his contract is but I’d expect him to form into a wilder team , nowt to lose and he’s championship match fit .
