Djed on his way back

A few weeks ago I’d have said he’d walk back into our team but Jones is making that RWB position his own.

Jones has exceeded expectations, but he's got a long way to go to be an automatic first choice player, needs to show better final ball to start with and can still tighten up defensively. Great squad player if I were to be ruthless which we probably need to be

Know a Trees Season Ticket holder and he has on good info Spence does not want to come back to Boro ... likes Nottingham as a town .... Happy playing there ... so do we want a unhappy player?
No, but we don't loan him out, eww sell him, and to the highest bidder. If Forest want him, they pay up.

The ball to Watmore on Saturday was perfect for accuracy and pace. I actually think his final ball is better than Spence's (when he was at Boro)

The loan move has worked he's regained confidence instead of sulking like he was with Warnock. Now time to bring him back to allow us to have strength in depth as Jones can't be made to play every game now until end of season at RWB they be good to rotate each other

Didn't he sign a contract extension before he moved...surely he wouldn't have done that if he didn't want to stay here?

Hi did, it was the only reason he was allowed out on loan otherwise we were inisiting on sale only.

More likley hes just insisted hes happy there and just not burning bridges, wouldnt look good if he said he was looking forward to working with wilder and then we didnt recall him.

Hes more than insisting hes happy - hes plerforming like a player reborn. His displays are a cut above anything he did for us - for one he`s consistent and gets regularly into the team, not just cameo appearances or resting his arz on the bench. Hes a young lad and contracts mean nothing if money is involved.
I`de hope he could have played like that for us, but Managers can destroy as well as build up players. If Chris gets the same out of him as Steve Cooper, Djed will be a real plus. I hope he does - if not, a player who has tasted "success" [in his brief career] may not want to come back to the Boro. Lets see.....

If he doesn’t want to come back - and nowhere has this been confirmed- then bring him back and sell him whilst he is at the top of his game. This would be our best option in my opinion.

We can’t, not mid season anyway, he can only play for us or forest.

End of the day regardless of whether or not he wants to come back, he's an employee of Boro and if the new gaffer fancies him then he'll do what WE pay him to do and come back and play the way he has been for Forrest.
However I'll believe he'll be excited to be played in his actual position and under an attack minded manager.
When he's back it's about us getting behind him and letting him know we want him

I don't think it's madness at all. Would you rather he was sat on the bench miserable and complaining? Instead he's got minutes on the pitch that he needs and it seems he's played himself into form again.
He has had enough minutes on the pitch this season to demonstrate he has massive talent. Forest fans love him.

If he comes back and he is Wilder"s player then he goes straight into the team - no question. Forget "sitting on the bench miserable" Get him back asap
