Bring him back, he is not as good as Jones from what we have seen playing for us. But how many times do we see a different player when working under a new manager. Well guess what, we have C.W and he has lifted the whole squad We need depth in the squad and if he thinks he's as good as he thinks he is let him prove it. That's what I would be saying to him. See what Forest offer, but do not let him go in the January window.
 
Bring him back. Dijksteel looking really good on the ball and id like to see him given a go in the midfield three. If it doesnt work no dramas but if it does, we put spence in the RCB role or LWB. Dijksteel gives us more options in midfield if he can do the business there, and options accross the back three. Solves a bunch of issues, provides depth all for no spend bringing Spence back
 
I would bring him back with the understanding if they want him, they have to pay for him. Ask for something silly and leave it until the end of the transfer window so it impacts their January games.

For me that would be a no-brainer - stay at Forest, he's already got the fans on his side. He tried it here, it didn't work for him and he is now enjoying his football again.

Agree Norman_Conquest, im not a fan of Spence & not to fussed if he stays at Forest, but he'll have been in the stands watching the Boro thinking what a transformation at our club, good luck to the lad whatever he decides
 
Im suprised though, thought a season loan meant we couldnt bring him back early, bringing him back will ceetainly weaken them too
 
Imagine the scenario- come back, Djed, no guarantee of getting a game as we have a red hot prospect and match winner playing in your position presently . No wonder he would probably prefer to stay at Forest!!
 
I wouldn't bring him back if he doesn't want to be here, that would make no sense.

However, there is a lot of merit in recalling him from his loan and making Forest buy him if they want him badly enough.

Arrogance and belief in their own abilities are what motivates the majority of these lads. If you don't believe you are better than the man in your position, you might as well give up.

Exactly. Reading the Forest board they definitely bemoan his exclusion. He's an important cog in their wheel and even more reason to try and get him back in January.

I don’t think these attributes helped him cut the mustard with us pre going out on loan. In fact, quite the reverse and the realisation is you have to knuckle down. If that penny dropped it can be only in his own long term interests

Regarding not cutting the mustard, do you also think the manager at the timer had something to do with it?

There is a full team playing much better under Wilder than under Warnock.
