If Sheffield beat us then we want them to keep winning against teams below us. Worst case for us is lose on Wed then for SU to start dropping points to other play-off teams.

Yep second is gone. It would take a supreme bottle job from them. They'd have to revert to form from 18 months ago which without catastrophic injuries won't happen. And we would have to win every game which we won't do.

A calf strain here or a tight hamstring there and the loss of one of there (or two) macatee, Norwood, nydiaye or berge turns them into a much less potent outfit.
That’s all they need, they played a weakened team vs Wrexham and got very lucky with them missing a pen and also conceding in the final minute of the first game.
If all those players aren’t on the pitch they start to fall apart and especially nydiaye up top because sharp and mcburnie are done and only there as foils to nydiaye….take nydiaye out; different team….but the same applies for all of the others I mentioned…
No injuries and they’ll walk 2nd and Wednesday night will be a very interesting challenge, especially if we turn up and play well because we could rip them apart….but have to then take our chances.
This leads me to Archer. First goal on Saturday away….off and running, he has high expectations for himself (I think) and will be relishing this game as his ‘in the window’ moment with a big game and he has a big game mentality (I think)
Archer could well be the difference. Clinical and fast are two words I’d associate him with
