Made him retract calling Bridget a “disgrace”.

He said he was sick of her interrupting him.

Just wanted to point this out as every time she interrupts a Labour MP she is lambasted on here.

Yes, I know she’s married to a Tory supporter but that doesn’t mean she can’t do her job. Much like Nigella.
 
He had a valid point to make, worthy perhaps of some discussion. The Welsh government do have an experimental basic income scheme for care leavers which may include asylum seekers.

Unfortunately he chose to use the information to launch a personal against Bridget Phillipson and the audience judged him a pathetic tool for it.

Tories are at the bottom of the barrel now. Every time they go on the attack they embarrass themselves and drop further in the polls.

Impressed with Bridget Phillipsons response. Very calm.

Could have continued (the one sided argument) but treated him like a 5 yr old having a temper tantrum just walked away and let him to it.

What an absolute bellend that fella is.

Yep.

I know they are “allowed” to but it just seems totally pointless and detrimental to all parties for them to drag this out until the winter.
 
Awful episode of Question Time - Politicians shouting at each other, very little to do with questions, most of the time didn't need an audience. The Tory was not interested in his own party policies just about Labour in Wales every time, point after point.

Why was there no non politicians on the panel?

Yes I thought that. Usually there are 5 guests rather than 4, and rarely just 4 politicians (which included 2 leaders). And no Lib Dem.

Well maybe, but half the journalists who go on there are usually folk who get very little TV exposure without it. If the likes of Oakeshott etc are bored of it then it really is doomed.

Oakschitt may have said she is “bored” of it but I suspect the public have cottoned on to her lunacy anyway and they won’t pick her on to the panel again. That said her partner was on last night anyway.
 
Is that the same Fiona Bruce who thinks there was a Corbyn government and who bullied and racially abused Diane Abbot?

And, one intervention against a Tory MP doesn’t mean she can do her job consistently well.

She has a track record of bias.
Let’s not whitewash it with one good deed.
