Fmttm admin continue to ignore fan concerns ahead of forums

You know that bit of graffiti that says "Hemo boot boys are f"- or suchlike, on a subway wall as if the artist got disturbed by the bobbies, or a ne'er do well from the opposing side before he could finish?

This is the thread equivalent of that.
I'd say it's the equivalent of FB check in at North Tees with a "I'll Inbox you hun" reply

Looks like the OP posted and went straight to bed, so I'll jump in...

On 18th July, the club announced "the phased introduction of digital ticketing for the 2023/24 season, after consultation with Middlesbrough Supporters Forum".

That was July. We're almost in October now, and still the MSF refuse to talk about that "consultation". Rob's been asked countless times and just ignores the question. I think at one point we were told to wait for the minutes of the August meeting (for a consultation that supposedly took place over a month before that meeting?) but of course they say absolutely nothing about it.

That's because there was no consultation. The club are lying about fan engagement, using MSF as cover, and the MSF members won't call them out on it because they like the ego boost of pretending their voices matter.

If I'm wrong, please feel free to prove me wrong, share the consultation details and I'll happily apologise.
This does need to be answered, I have asked this question a number of times and I get the brush off when I ask the question.

I have a solution in that I have a hard season ticket card now. But nobody has answered the question what happens if I refuse to go digital and why it was announced four days before the start of the season.

The forum needs to be elected and streamed like council meetings.

I have asked to attend meetings and that is not possible as it is a ‘closed shop’.

The chairman and chief executive need to attend the meetings also.

When is the next meeting?

Plenty of people have answered, multiple times, but you refuse to listen.

You wont be forced to have a digital ticket, and you know full well there's an opt out option.

I am confused about why MFC would just outright lie about consulting anybody over the decision.

Creates more problems than it solves.

We weren't consulted. It was either a mistake, an oversight or worse.. Digital ticketing had been mentioned. But as far as I am concerned that was it.
It caused a real argument within the forum, risked a real rift between fans and forum, fans and club etc etc.
Things could have gone one of two ways. It was a close thing.
In the forum constitution it says we work with the club - that was what was decided by a majority.

I think the main thing now is to make sure it is never repeated and that all parties fans/forum/club build trust and try and pull together. Hopefully we can see the first shoots of a revival on the pitch. We are much stronger all pulling together as we have seen from the massive away followings and superb home support, even when the team has been rock bottom. Onwards and upwards. Up The Boro.
