I’d expect they are paying about 3/4 of his wages it probably saves us 8-9k a week allowing us room in the budget for another player who we actually want in the squad.

Good luck to him, never shirked on effort and has always came across very professional even when not involved he was just too slow.

We might be putting other clubs into the same situation we are in waiting on Armstrong, Muniz and Forss. Akpom and Uche may have offers or deals agreed and we won't release them until we're sorted with players.

Yes it does, they probably can’t afford his whole salary so we are subsidising maybe a 1/4 of it. Doing it via a loan means he can’t play against us which is always helpful though.

He'd definitely need to play in a team that plays a much deeper defensive line and with a quick full back/centre back alongside him

I agree we are probably paying a large percentage of his wages. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was half.
