I recall Simon Clarke

Yeah, that was the leadership election, I still voted for a Labour candidate to be our leader.
Dear Councillor, I'm still interested in your opinion of people with a previous history of bankruptcy. Do you still maintain they can't own their own home?

I think your getting carried away with pedantic's.

Of course- if people are unlucky enough to experience bankruptcy it would be ridiculous to suggest that they would never own their home, via a mortgage or otherwise.

I mean.. it’s still all a bit.. meh

Happy to, but I don't read the gazette, much less the comments page. I've made it very clear that I will reply to members of this forum to the best of my knowledge, no serious question is out of bounds as far as I am concerned, as a councillor, I do after all help spend your money.
Were you Ian Shooter?
Do you have a dark past? 🤔

And yet that's exactly what you did suggest. Dismiss it as pedantic if you want. Doesn't change the fact you claimed that the fact you owned your own home proved you had never been bankrupt.
If I have misunderstood, then I am happy for you to explain the relevance of you being mortgage free and debt free in answer to that particular question.
