I recall Simon Clarke

Posting on twitter that one of his constituents should "**** off" Teesside Live wasn't interested.

But for some strange reason they are interested in this.

It's really not language that I ever use- I tweeted the day Dominic Cummings was giving evidence to the "Covid Enquiry" Where he agreed that he and most of the top people in 10 Downing Street used, shall we say, not very nice fruitful language, much worse than I would even tweet.
Clarke of course fully supports the people that was in charge of Downing street at that time, and has never complained about the language used.

He did of course tweet this

Still- It gives the copy n paste merchants that Reach now employ, some practice at writing I guess.

"He said something bad and it wasn't put in the paper, but when I say something bad it is... Boo hoo"

I wish politicians would spend more time actually doing what they're supposed to be doing instead of playing pointless party politics. Click baiting the thread title too. Dear me.

I would agree with this, if it wasn't for the fact that our local newspaper only posts what it's Tory paymasters tell them too.

You can't complain about political party politics and that everyone should just get on with their jobs if only one side of the story is visible.

This 100%

I think the people of Middlesbrough are fed up with childish name calling and point scoring on social media between individuals and political parties....

Just get on with what you were elected to do !!

ALL OF YOU !!! 😡
We are doing just that, getting on with it.

But oddly enough when we get elected we don't stop being humans or turn into robotic town and people managers.

It may surprise you, but I still hate the hard right, even though I got elected to the council.

Why do you feel the need to name call on social media ?

What don't you understand about just stopping it all and getting on with the job in hand...

It's an absolute disgrace tbh 👎

Actually I was making a point, the point that Clarke was happy for his mates to name call, not only on social media but in real life, he even said so, but once it was addressed to him he didn't like it up him, indeed the very point he made when others complained about him.

Say one thing, do another! My point was well made and his complaint proves it.

What about the hard left? Equally as dangerous in my opinion. I 'dislike' any form of extremism. At the moment we have a leader of the opposition who isn't 'labour enough' and now tory activists are saying Sunak isn't a true conservative. Political pundits suggest the election will become a race to catch the moderate centrists. It's easy to see why.
