If you don't live on Teesside, who is your local team and do you go and watch them?

AFC Wimbledon, Fulham, Chelsea.
Respectively
'No, but might go to rugby match sometime to take a look';
'No, especially in PL;
'No, not even if they were the only club in the UK that I could gain entry to '.

Might consider Tooting and Mitcham.

St Austell (South West Peninsula League) are five minutes from where I live. Used to watch them all the time, but don't get there as often now. Had a memorable run in the FA Vase a few years back before losing to Glossop in the semis.

Preston North End (Although Bamber bridge is closer).

Just had an "Earlybird renewal" leaflet through the door for PNE, prices available until 4th June.
Adult season tickets ranging from £280 - 380. Juniors ranging from £80 -125, under 11's are free in all sections.

Bloody Forest. About a mile from the ground. Been a couple of times as a home supporter but loads of times in the away end.

Bradford PA are the nearest to me, stadium is walking distance.
I went once when they drew 0-0 with Blyth Spartans and it was one of the worst games ive ever seen.

Bolton Wanderers. When my son - born in Bolton - was ten I decided it was time to formally lead him along the True Path and took him to the Riverside for three games in early 2008: Reading (0-1), Cardiff FAC (0-2) , and Bolton (0-1). Refused take him again and he ended up with a Bolton season ticket (not for long, thankfully 😊)
Went with him a couple of times but last time I went was in 2016 to the Jordon Rhodes game.

Fareham Town in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier. Go to most games, home and away. The season ticket is £45 and £25 for an OAP.

Our gates have trebled since the pandemic when people couldn't go to Portsmouth or Southampton or wherever.

We haven't won anything for 29 years but reached the League Cup Final this season, losing 2-1 to Shaftesbury, having lost to them 9-0 on aggregate in the league.

I see Gosport Borough were mentioned earlier in the thread, we don't like them!! Haha!

Plymouth Parkway also mentioned, we played them a year or two ago in the FA Vase and lost.

Non league football has a lot going for it. Generally not far to travel, cheap, you can have a beer and watch the game, no aggro, you know the players to speak to. Its all good!

For me it's Chicago Fire in the MLS. Despite somehow persuading Xherdan Shaqiri to play for them, they are awful. We have four season tickets at work (given for free by the club) but I still haven't been tempted to go yet this year (maybe I will now the English footy season is over).
Mine used to be Fire (and I’m angry at the change of their kit and badge btw) and now it’s Inter Miami. The (abysmal lack of) quality of this Miami team makes me wish it was still Chicago Fire!
