Ipswich town on Saturday.....

We're playing them at the worst possible time given the large amount of players we have who are currently unavailable.

If we can beat Leicester though there's no reason to think we won't be able to beat Ipswich, but it will be tough.

The difference here is that Leicester are a significantly stronger team than us. Notwithstanding that, we defended well, rode our luck a bit and came away with a win due to a superb free kick. Ipswich, man for man, are in my view weaker than us, even with our injuries, they happen to be on an exceptional run of form but are overachieving. They are beatable.

I should add, if we want to be promoted this season, this is the sort of game we need to get something from.

Every week you expect them to slip up or you see them a couple of goals down and when the results come in, they get something out of the game.

That for me tells me they are a hard working team, playing for each other.

They are clearly exceeding than the sum of their parts. This is going to be a really tough game. To be perfectly honest, I think we're going to struggle with the team we available to us and a lack of options from the bench. They're dangerous down the flanks and our full back issues might prove to be an issue. Having said that a large travelling contingent often gets the best out of our own fan base so that might actually help us.

We're gonna come up against an inspired brick wall in Morsy/Luongo & it's gonna hurt!🥺
People are hammering our defence, when it's the lack of any form of holding midfielder that's the problem!

Most of their wins have been by 1 goal. They aren't playing teams off the park but they obviously know how to get a result and are full of confidence.

In a weird twisted kind of logic (hear me out) having a makeshift back 4/midfield might actually help us defend better.

The majority of our defensive issues this season have been lack of concentration and a lack of application when out of possession, rather than a team shape or quality issues. When we played Leicester, for example, these things were not an issue as we were very aware of the need to be "on it" so to speak, due to their quality level.

My theory is that given the patched up nature of the team, specifically the defence, they will be aware of the need to be "on it" from minute 1 and none of the previous issues will arise.............

Every game in this league is "tough".
They`ve been beaten by West Brom [0-2] and Leeds [3-4].
They`ve come close against Sunlun [1-2],
QPR [0-1],
Reading [2-2],
Cardiff [3-2],
Sheffield Wednesday [0-1],
Blackburn Rovers [4-3],
So, many of their games are wins by a single goal.
They leak goals.
They arent invincible.
I`m convinced we will win.
Come back to me if we dont.
