The model works when you have a brain. Scott doesn’t and have an owner who’s not financially able to truly compete anymore Steve Gibson is not bigger than the club and with him bausor and Scott the club will not progress. We might do well and put a few past burton next season

I just don't think you can ever really say that. He may well (between him and the scouts) have identified twenty players that would transform us. If the club can't get them over the line for dilly-dallying and financial reasons that isn't really down to him. We've shopped in B&M to do the gardening. The hedge trimmer is probably shight, but with a bit of maintenance if we go easy on it, it'll probably do the same job as a black & decker one over 12 months. It is what it is.

Until clubs come out with a 'scouted - recommended - approached - signed' list every year, you'll never really know how well we do.

Gibsons decisions for the last 15 years see us where we are financially, he could write off the £120 million debt and admit he's never getting it back and get outside investment, we're in a good enough position FFP wise to spend a metric phook-ton more than we have. He's making a choice to go the low cost development route to try and clear his mistakes, if we go up for a couple of seasons I assume. It is what it is. We're stuck with each other, last season was a golden opportunity, we took our foot off the gas and stuttered over the line at half intensity, we've never recovered.

I mean, the model works if you have the right people at the helm to do it. I’m aware we can’t spash huge amounts of cash a lot of the money we have made in our big sales over the years will be to cover the debts sir immune from criticism Gibson has made but i have no faith in Scott the model can either work a treat or you get clowns like Scott signing absolute dross I’m worried very worried. I think we might go down. Last season I knew we wouldn’t but this feels a lot worse

Scott has massive autonomy at the club. He decides who signs, who stays, who goes and how much of the budget goes on who.
Bausor might negotiate the deals, but Scott sets the priorities.

Think all 3 Gibson Scott and bausor are all not good enough in the long term to take the club forward

It depends it’s possible as seen. It’s obviously not easy to do. We can’t spend big to get out the league. We have had to clear massive amounts of debt to cover. The model can work we simply don’t have the people to do it. Scott is hopeless

He didn’t nearly got us promoted he signed two **** poor strikers and hasn’t made more than a few decent real signings we relied heavily on loans and it didn’t work Chuba Akpom decided to step up and got scotty boy out of jail. Who would have scored goals before archer till January. Hoppe muniz crooks. The deadwood still lingers the liability’s are still here. It’s a threeway thing. Him Gibson and bausor will not take us forward. I hope I’m wrong but I doubt I will be.

But surely Gibbo ultimately sets the budget? I can't see Scott after finishing 4th demanding we only recruit from Denmark, Holland and Australia for the majority of our signings? He wants us to do well too you'd have to assume.

Did Scott not sign or identify archer, Giles, Ramsey, steffan. Or does that not suit the narrative
