Liverpool fans

Not sure I believe this 2 turnstile story.
OK - believe what you want. But if you listen to the BBC journalist on the TV who was there attending the match - he described in detail what fans with tickets had to do to get in including going through various narrow gaps and barriers. Nothing that he said was unbelievable when combined with what the vilified fans are saying and combined with the video footage. Do you not belive him either?

I'm glad that we are not looking at fans crushed or worse.

I got in from the Sky Sports reporter video on this thread - he's a well established reporter seemed to have done his research i.e not a sensationalist or one for keeping detail.

I knew the Riverside has a east 20 trunstiles and its seems 38 from what Uncle Rico is reporting - thats no more than 1000 fans per turnstile, while it was 10,000 for Liverpool fans. If true that is asking for trouble.

I found the large number of robberies un-nerving as well as the crowd issues.

I have seen this before in Paris and in Amsterdam and heard about in Brussells to work colleagues on a work visit.

Its not something I see or hear about in say London, nowadays.

It's in Spanish, so you'll have to translate each tweet, but there's a Madrid fan highlighting all the trouble that their fans faced from the police too.
"haciendo fotos a los mvl para pillar los códigos qr"

So it sounds like locals where taking photos of the QR codes on the tickets of people in the crowd, then using them to gain entry at the barriers? No wonder so many people were finding their tickets being rejected if someone else had already got in with the same code.

Thierry Henry was on somewhere saying the final isn't in Paris, its inSaint-Denis, making out it was a huge difference and you don't want to be caught in Saint-Denis.

Saint Denis is rough, very rough and the whole area around it is unnerving. The French clearly haven’t learnt from euro 2016 which again was chaos. Did five games out there and not one was straight forward or well organised.

Just reading the Spanish twitter thread, not surprised to see he had his car broken into, Happened to my dads car after Germany vs Poland at Stade De France in 2016.

No no no, this thread tells you uefa and French are lying and the British press are reporting the truth as they always have
But it's not just the British press. L'Equipe are absolutely ripping into the French authorities today, calling out their lies and telling the exact same story that Liverpool fans are telling.

He might have meant two banks of turnstiles. Each entrance has 8 at SdF
Or he might be misinformed as there are plenty of photos of LFC fans at turnstile blocks, A,C,U,X,Y&Z.

I would vouch for comments made previously on the thread about the area in general. One of the scariest places I have ever inadvertently found myself in. Was better when I attended a game... at least there were cops about.

Like I said, there are photos of fans at A,C,U,X,Y and Z entrances, each has 8 turnstiles. Nobody wants to see problems like this but reporters/media need to get facts straight, they rarely do these days.
