As someone mentioned earlier the only world class players they've seen are in the opposition colours. I've you've watched poor players throughout your clubs history you might not know what a top class player looks like.

How come we didn't raise our game then? As going on other results we should have been playing at about the level of Forest or Leicester surely?

You haven't been paying attention have you as you must have missed my earlier contribution regarding the thread on RTG that discussed a possible swap with Man City, Dan Neil for Kalvin Philips. Almost to a man they rejected the idea on the grounds that Neil is the better player.
Joke indeed.

Then I realised that they really are that insular and delusional and it seems that the tv show has took this delusion to a whole new level.
 
If the Mags win on Sunday RTG will be saying NUFC lifted their game because they wanted to prove their worth to Sunderland. It's really their cup final against Sunderland ya kna. Not joking either someone will actually say this.

I didn't know I had to study all your posts before replying to a specific one.
I have however checked back to the RTG thread you mentioned and it confirms that you take their replies a bit seriously.
