Can only think he's done it for the money and the convenience of knowing it's close to home but I've struggled hearing him talk them up as a club, and seeing him look emotional in his post-match interviews following a defeat.

With that minor edit, I don't disagree with that.
Thought they were decent against Coventry today but lacked a cutting edge up front and so Cov' were happy to set up on the edge of their box & let Sunderland play in front & down the side of them, especially after they'd got in front.
