I'd prefer if they ran out of paper straws that come with said shakes
Good idea buying reusable straws. You should see how many McDonalds cups and straws we have to pick up when litter picking. Interesting though because when I was young we only had paper straws with our drinks. I remember them going mushy but we did manage, didn't we?Took the kids to the pictures at the weekend to see Paw Patrol The Movie (their choice, not mine!).
Bought them slushes and basically watched them chew on disintegrating and soggy straws whilst still getting no liquid whatsoever. I had to take the lid off so they could sip the damn things instead, which meant they ended up covering themselves in blue slush. Looked like they were extras in some zombie pic, where they'd been feasting on Aliens with blue blood as it was all around their chops and down the front of their outfits.
I get the need to be environmentally friendly but the paper ones just don't work. It's like getting rid of cars as they are no good for the environment and instead replacing them with what's in the picture below and saying "off you drive to London then for the next Boro away game, crack on!".
Ridiculous, make them out of recyclable plastic or something. I'm sadly tempted to buy reusable metal straws off the internet for future use!

Yup, no such thing as a plaggy straw in 60s. The trick was not to chew them, kids tend to chew them (probablies what they only just finished doing to mama - ouch) just ask for a couple of extras and tell them not to chew!when I was young we only had paper straws with our drinks. It's an existing milkshake logistic problem. Everyone has known about it. To blame brexit is crazy, crazy I tells yaThere’s no shortage; must have been bad organisation
And the shortage of fresh fruit and veg cancels it. Tinned spam anyone? One health benefit of Brexit.
That's clearly Corbyns fault. And the shortage of fresh fruit and veg cancels it. Tinned spam anyone?
Not in isolation it isn’t, but they also have shortages of bottled drinks. Kfc are running out of and Nando’s ran out of chicken. If large companies like these can run out of products, other things can’t be too far behindIt's not exactly the four horsemen of the apocalypse riding the plains is it?
Disease, War, Pestilence, Shortage of milk shakes.
Will it not lead to improved pay and conditions for hauliers leading to an end to the shortages? Not in isolation it isn’t, but they also have shortages of bottled drinks. It might do if there were sufficient drivers - we're thousands short. Will it not lead to improved pay and conditions for hauliers leading to an end to the shortages?
