Micah Richards - what does he know?

For some unfathomable reason Micah Richards is now a main pundit for Sky, Match of the Day, and on 5Live. He's either got a fantastic agent or some very unsavoury photos of the producers.

Kelly Dalgleish asked him the other day whether the premier league should consider alternative arrangements if covid-19 cases continued to postpone matches and honestly it was like listening to a dog try to explain long division.

I'm all for kicking out all the dinosaurs who last played the game more than 20 years ago and are now just bitter and demanding of young players who have far more ability and will achieve more than they ever did (looking at you Chris Sutton and Andy Townsend), but has someone decided that what the people want is more bantz?
The problem here is Kelly Dalgleish, not Micah Richards.

A classic example of nepotism

Micah Richards - dull moronic pundit obviously employed for the bants

Roy Keane - dull moronic pundit obviously employed for his over inflated opinion of himself

Jamie redknapp - dull moronic pundit obviously employed for his good looksanf as eye candy so that anyone’s missus disinterested in football stays tuned in at half time

gary Neville - only decent pundit on sky. Not afraid to speak his mind.

the rest are all meh in my view.

I’m a huge fan of Black Lives Matter but it feels like Micah is the token BLM pundit. Ian Wright is brilliant
Micah Richards is terrible
See interestingly I think he’s the token youth pundit. There to connect with anyone under the age of 25.

No one has mentioned Clinton Morrison yet. Another appalling pundit and bang average footballer iirc unlike most of those on MOTD eg Shearer, Murphy Keaone, etc

I don't even bother watching the punditry anymore, just the game and that's it. The videos I've seen of him trying to force an 'unlikely bromance' with Roy Keane by following him around and laughing like a hyena at anything he says, however, are pretty cringeworthy.

I don't think he's too bad to be honest but I wish he'd get an outfit that fits him. Every shirt looks to be about 2 sizes too small for him. I was worried about Chappers losing an eye from a stray button popping off the other week.
That made me laugh! I like him, he's refreshing and pretty honest in his opinions. I did happen to be watching when he was asked about Covid measures and though he should of expressed an opinion. But that's his choice I guess.

I like Jenas, thinks he just edges it over Murphy on presenting the tactical stuff. but like them both. Keane is a bit like Shearer, wondering what they're going to moan about next, two hardened pros who have done it, and forget it's human to err sometimes. Souness knows his stuff, like to listen to him, Wrighty is a affable . Clinton looks like he's always going to slide off his chair.
