From speaking to the steward at Swansea game they will get chucked out. Happens a lot with the Mackems apparently. Stewards spot em and out they go.

Sunderland actually do corporate hospitality for away fans at £100 a pop i suppose they'll have plenty of spare seats to do this unless the boro are in town

By coincidence I’ve just been renewing my BT contract. The call centre is in Newcastle. Once the business had been done we had a brief chat about the footy. He’s a Mackem fan and said he’s been offered a seat in the home end, but didn’t fancy it. I have no reason to doubt him.

I've done it a few times myself in the past. It's not ideal.
Like driving with one foot on the accelerator, the other on the brake.

I did it once at Plymouth many years ago - didn’t enjoy it. Only did it to please some mates but it’s not for me. Seems disrespectful to home supporters as well - not a chance I’d do it again
