Monday - quite a few Sunlun fans in the home ends

Ive been in the home end at the SOL stuani scored twice ... it was torture was also hilarious listening to their fans queuing at 1/2 time in the concourse saying they couldnt believe they were losing to this shower of ....

I went with a boss from work who was a mackem

Ive done it at Elland Road too when Kav scored the pen and a couple of times at the KC Stadium (they dont like us)

If they have any colours on or show any Mackem tendancies they will be out of the Hardwick Bar in no time. Whilst it's nice I would want to get on the wrong side of my fellow fans in that area.

I was in the Man City home end for the game where Schwarzer saved Fowler's last minute penalty. Sat on hands, spoke little, looked glum when JFH scored, clapped when City equalised. Pretended to look stunned when Fowler missed..... mustn't have done that good a job as a fella a couple or rows in front clocked me. Just nodded at me as he walked out 😬😬

Worst thing was the Boro fans were right next to us going mental 😁😁

Did it once back in the 80’s when violence was bad, away at Hull and went in the Hull end and the Boro fans jumped over the fencing to get at the Hull fans…😔

Hilarious thread on there at the moment about songs they used to sing about us "yesteryear".

Yesteryear? We all know they'll be singing them as per usual this Monday.

Their colours are the same as ours 🤣

Grim reading that like, never heard any other set of fans sing songs like that.

I did it once at Plymouth many years ago - didn’t enjoy it. Only did it to please some mates but it’s not for me. Seems disrespectful to home supporters as well - not a chance I’d do it again
Hardly disrespectful, if your club is playing why shouldn’t you be able to go and watch them? We will have thousands of empty seats on Monday night, if a Sunderland fan or any fan wants to go and watch the game I don’t see how that’s a problem provided they aren’t going to cause trouble

To be fair if I was faced with the choice of sitting in the boro end or being surrounded by a load of stinking mackems who've never seen a shower in months I'd be off into the home end too.

Its not gonna happen relax, we hear this every time we play Sunderland and it never happens. Maybe the odd individual who sits in silence for 90 minutes but pockets of fans, no chance 😂

Its just a few gobshites on their board giving it the big un.

Who remembers the game at the SOL when boro fans could openly buy tickets in the home end via ticketmaster?

I think it was Riggott and Christie's debut there was absolute bedlam when we took the lead as there were pockets of boro fans all over the home end

I was there and remember it well, I was in our end but I've been in away ends quite a few times and had no chew. Everton ( we won) Sunderland (we won X 2) Leeds (drew) Liverpool (lost) etc etc

I was surprised and saddened when I first saw Boro fans complaining, and that's all it was, about away fans enjoying themselves at the Riverside in what wasn't a designated away end. It killed it a bit for me, still don't understand it.
