Mowbray likely to be leaving Blackburn

As if you’ve took that from what I’ve said. How can Klopp and Mogga be compared. It’s be like comparing Ferguson and Gary Megson, or Pep and Chris Hugton. There’s no comparison to be made really is there.

As I said, I think Mogga is a decent manager, makes good signings and plays good football. But his teams seem to fade away at the end of the season, therefore I pondered if that could be due to Sports Science.

I then used Klopp (or more likely his team) as an example of a team who may possibly be using Sports science better.

Just to make it absolutely clear for you, I suggested that sports science may be Mogga’s weakness. I also suggested sports science may be one of Klopps strong points.

Out of curiosity, do you think the difference between Mogga and Klopp is the £500m Klopp has spent?
Do his team's not just fade away because he gets average sides into league positions that they don't have the quality to maintain? To say it's sports science is a bit of a long shot. It's more likely that his team's just aren't that good

So why do Moggas teams over perform for the first part of the season before underperforming / fading away / reverting to the teams true level for the latter part.

Why not the other way round? Average performance for the first part of the season then over performing for the latter part?

It's a good point, but it's certainly more common isn't it? Teams getting a good start and then fading.
Sports science gets you that extra performance level of course but the usual dip for Mowbrays team feels more fundamental

Is there a job for him at boro, managing the golden thread through the age groups?
I've said before that I think he would make a good director of football, imposing a playing style through the whole club.

It wouldn't work here though as he'd be too much of a big presence, no head coach/manager would feel comfortable in their job.

I think Mowbray has more to offer than Hartlepool. Hope he doesn’t go there.
Wendies, Barnsley both better off with him.

Tony Mowbray built the spine of the promotion winning team for karnaka. Has was given no money and cleared the decks after strachan.

If was given the financial backing he would have taken us up just like karanka did.

We topped the table once after beating Sheffield Wednesday on a Friday night.

Strangely he couldn’t organise our defence and persisted with Jason Steele. Karanka sorted those issues straight away without any funding.

Daniel Ayala signed by Mowbray made the difference.

We drew loads of games after, but we struggles to score goals until Jose loaned us loads of Chelsea players.

If Mowbray had the budget we would have won the title.
