NEIL WARNOCK

Happy with the league position considering how woeful we had been. Also said it’s a massive game against Hull. We have been beaten against the worst team in the league and the in game management was shocking once again. My mind is firmly made up now. He’s got to go.
Because your mind is made up he has to go? Thats some narcissism right there.

Maybe I am deluded. Deluded to think we could challenge with this squad but honestly I’ve never been so down about our Club well probably since the early 80s. I appreciate Warnock has his supporters and there are still those who want to persevere with him. I’ve never taken to him as a personality or as a manager but given he came in and turned the Club fortunes around then he deserved his chance again this season - despite a poor run of form in the second half of last season.

I have seen enough to know it isn’t working. We all want the Club to have a good feel factor and I don’t believe that will be achieved whilst we have “a stop gap” in charge for at his age that is what he is.

We need a longer term soluton - a younger manager that will build for the long term. This short termism season feels just wrong and I genuinely believe that the game today has passed NW by. We shouldn’t be losing to Hull.., or Blackpool, Coventry and Reading. 2 defeats could be bad luck or a blip in form. 4 it’s more serious.

No change and we will be in a relegation battle. We deserve better in my opinion with the investment made.

I just have no belief he can turn around this inconsistent form, it's been like this since the turn of the year.

I certainly wasn't getting carried away following the win against Sheff Utd. We've basically picked up where we left off last season.

No football for a couple of weeks, time to stow the foam hands in the cupboard till the next win

I'm honestly worried about getting sucked into a relegation battle with him in charge at this rate. It's not like performances have been good and we've just been unlucky. Results reflect the performances.

Come on Gibson can we please have a relatively experienced modern manager now please? We've had half a decade of dinosaurs either side of a rookie who got the job because he has a Boro accent. Haven't we suffered enough?
We are already in a relegation battle. Look at the form 2021.

Yeah, fair point. I think most would probably say too early into this season to call it that yet, but I'm definitely looking down rather than up at this point.

Our form since the turn of the year is really poor and that has to be taken into account, absolutely. I'd pull the trigger if I was in Gibson's place. I've seen nothing to suggest that form is likely to change under Warnock.

I like Warnock (but not his politics) and when played well, with a team that suits, I actually think in yer face, high tempo aggressive football is a good watch.

But its clear that this is just not working. Time for a change for me.

I think the 'Woodgate vision' was the right one. Good football, youthful signings, 3-5 year plan. We simply appointed someone out of his depth at the stage. That's not the job for a rookie

Looks like frys out for weeks. The clubs decision to loan wood out, spence, even hackney and selling morsy will leave us thin again with injuries and suspensions soon. Agree he looks like a tired man who yearns for nice quiet life in cornwall. Do you get what im saying...

Hasnt done nottingham forestry any harm
Well it has they have spent a lot of money and had numerous managers in the last couple of years with nothing to show for it and are stuck with legacy signing from different reigmes. You probably couldn't pick a worse club in the championship to emulate😔

Yet another in a long line of knee jerk reactions by the OP...I thought you were happy with our position in the league table only a couple of days ago ??..... Pathetic but predictable . reaction !
Give me one reason why he should stay on? Or if you cant then one thing to suggest he can actually turn this around

We’re a mid table side, it’s that simple. Deluded as the geordies some on here
At this present moment then yes, but with the players we have plus the ones who were brought in over the summer its not difficult to see this is a long term project to work with and improve these players for the next few years.
Considering he just said the other day he wasnt prepared to use these players at the moment then what is he actually here for? Let the likes of Payero, siliki, Jones etc play for the u23s all season whilst he secures a mid table finish and then retires in the summer anyway. Its just a season of lost development for those players, some of them that we have spent huge sums of money on. I could possibly accept it if it looked like he might get us promoted this season but we have absolutely no chance of that.

Bring in someone who will actually use these players and lets actually look to the future

I like Warnock, but this team has no direction or plan. I could get behind it if I could see what type of style of football was being tried, but he's just plucking 11 players out of a hat and hoping something clicks.

Getting promotion is a 2-3 year process of building a team that plays to a plan and even then 2 of promotion teams will be the recently relegated.

Beyond some kind of miracle, Warnock has took us as far as he can. It time we looked to the future and bring in a new manager to build on the decent foundations we have.
