North Macedonia v England - 7:45pm KO

It was a shocking decision. But then again we got way with one when Maguire fouled their player in the box.

2 wrongs have made a right in this case!
 
1 and half games against 2 weaker nations and hardly any shots on goal. When are people in the fa going to smell the coffee, this manager is shockingly bad.
Maguire awful, Trent in midfield awful, Watkins isn't international quality. Henderson, Phillips I could go on.
Gareth clearly has his favourites and it's clouding his judgement.
If we had a decent manager we would be looking good to dominate international football for the next few years. As it stands expect disappointment and wasting a extremely good generation possibly the best we have ever had, certainly in recent years.
 
What on earth did VAR see to give that penalty, absolute joke. Does the clear and obvious error no longer get taken account of?

It's a dead rubber against North Macedonia, after a virtual dead rubber against Malta, with a much changed side and the only goal scored has been because of a nonsense penalty.

England put in an inspired performance against Italy last month.

Fans have travelled a long way, spending a lot of money to watch this. Why are you apologising for this pathetic performance from some so called top Premier League players?
 
So you think under Gareth we will win anything ??
Because if so your ridiculous. Dead rubber or not I could pick a team from the championship that would play better.
The teams in question wouldn't beat many if any championship teams.
Keep deluding yourself I've said it for years. I'd love to see Gareth do well (ex Boro etc) unfortunately he's ******* a really good squad up the wall.

Where have I apologised for it?

England have been poor in these two matches, but it's probably hard to motivate scratch sides to play out of their skins in matches that have very little riding on it.

I just think it's the usual overreaction from drama queens.
 
Totally uninspiring performance from England yet again.

Second rate international side making us look bang average.

Players being given a chance are hardly staking any sort of claim.

Southgate needs to give them a wake up call at half time.

Of course you could pick a team better than an ex-professional player who also played over 50 times for England.
