Raaaaab said he would resign if found guilty of bullying

What a surprise the Victorian aristocratic gentleman tribute act thinks that you should be able to treat workers as badly as you want, because you know sending people into dangerous pits, or children up chimneys is acceptable to him, so a throwing food, screaming in peoples faces, and physically threatening them is minor compared to that.

"In setting the threshold for bullying so low, this inquiry has set a dangerous precedent. It will encourage spurious complaints against Ministers, and have a chilling effect on those driving change on behalf of your government — and ultimately the British people."

A threshold for bullying? There is actually a threshold?

I bet he was incandescent with rage writing that, no, I know he was absolutely fuming.

I accept people will have a strong management style, but you can't always manage by your own expectations.

And you simply just cannot treat people like twãts anymore.
The Mob can be "robust", but you dont get the best out of anyone by being a ______.(n)

You have to wonder about the mental health of some of these senior Tories.

It does look a low threshold - especially the episode with the Spanish Ambassador and the surface level parts revealed (without the full transcript giving full context).

If a road crew dug a hole in the road taking 2 weeks to do so ( * 3 way traffic lights etc) in the wrong place - and one ( as the boss ) formed an adverse view of this shoddy work - does one think a gentle chiding is due? I've worked with Yorkshire bosses - withering springs to mind. If a full transcript is available then perhaps that would provide better context - like in the Bercow affair.

I'm absolutely for workplace bullies to get their comeuppance ( I've seen conference rooms bugged, poisoned pot plants, broken ribs and bleached mug rinse tea amongst others ) like say a Bercow.

I'm intrigued by the "punitive element" mind.

It doesn’t look a low threshold, we haven’t been given any of the detail, so it’s impossible to know

It’s what inept execs and senior managers do.

They deflect from their own incompetencies as rigorously as they can. They show their communication failures by failing to have even basic emotional intelligence.

The best leaders are people that recognise their role is to empower and support, giving direction and helping to remove obstacles and owning risk.what Raab appears to do, and I’ve seen this behaviour in others, is lob a grenade over the wall to their staff, then run away, then scream at them a week later because they’ve had their legs blown off.

He is a boss, not a leader, and not a particularly successful boss at that
He'd certainly be the sort to order his troops over the top at the Somme and then retreat to the bunker 'awaiting further orders'
