Sammy Ameobi?

He signed right at the beginning of July, it's 3 1/2 months since he last trained. Yet we haven't even been told what the injury is, other than it's knee related. I'd be astounded to see him this season, clearly a very very serious injury
BM we have been told several times - and I have reported this on here with a couple of updates from press conferences. There aren't many simply because there is little to update as there was no progress.
It is frustrating for us but must be more so for Warnock and Ameobi - the last time I reported back on this he was doing physio building up the leg around the knee and had a programme to keep generally fit. It was not the same knee he had previously hurt. It is just a waiting game for him.

I asked Craig from the Gazette about this on twitter a few weeks ago.

He said its a strange one and whenever questions are asked you get the same answer and he suspects there is more to it.

I asked if anyone had tried to contact Ameobi directly but attempts to reach out to him have gone unanswered apparently.

I only ever see injured/recovering players in the spa at Rockliffe, who use the swimming pool to exercise with physios.
I've seen Fry, Hall, Bola and Dijksteel recently.
Tav and Uche also get in.

I've only seen Ameobi there once and not for nearly three months now.
He either has a very serious injury, or...

They are all really polite and good blokes who keep themselves to themselves.
George F and Grant L are the only ones I've ever seen use the pool to actually swim properly and they did a lot.
(Just a bit slower than me).
Grant Hall can swim rapidly though I have to say.

Interesting

Perhaps this is something the DoF would answer? Mr Scott keeps a pretty low profile; does he have media dealings?

are you the new cleaning person? I heard the last lady retired....

There was a rumour on an earlier thread saying he had failed a drugs test and the ‘injury’ was simply hiding his suspension
