He’ll use his own waffle and piffle answers, that don’t give clarity on his position. Giving him culpable deniability in future. Because it isn’t a court he can’t be held in contempt for that kind of behaviour

He is well briefed
The phrase he keeps using is ‘belief’
There is nothing in the report saying he ‘believed’ the parties were contrary to guidelines.
That can never be proved either way

Of course, there can be evidence provided suggesting he ‘should’ have believed. The evidence is pretty compelling on that front.

But, he can legitimately claim his innocence until his dying day. His belief is only know to him.

In fact, he could (but won’t) go further - ‘everyone knows I’m a bit of a buffoon, I had no idea what rules were in place really so had no chance of knowing whether any rules were broken‘

He stood in front of TV cameras, during lockdown, and told people the rules, not said "I think...erm erm....ermm... you can't have a party". This whole defence is total and utter b*llshit - he knows it, his people know it, we know it and we know he knows it.

But in keeping with his selfish, self-entitled personality he'll play the blustering idiot card hoping the "tsssssk - that's Boris!!" excuse will get him off the hook. Again.

Hope he's finally nailed for the lying sh*tbag he is and more Blue on Blue battles kick off because of this.👍

But, lets remember around 23% of the electorate (according to polls on his honesty) either don’t know or don’t agree with us.

In theory, it can constitute a Contempt of Parliament. Although this could, again theoretically, lead to a fine or imprisonment, this hasn't happened for centuries. In practice, the most likely outcome would be a suspension from the house. If it's long enough (10 sitting days or 14 calendar days) then this could trigger a recall petition.
