That's fair enough but does that then mean it's acceptable to target politician's families and kids regardless of whatever colour tie that politician wears?

Of course not. But I also remember Cherie Blair being absolutely hounded as some kind of scheming, money-grabbing legal harridan while Blair was PM. She wasn't a politician, but I don't ever remember such sentiments being raised then, least of all by Sunak's Tory lickspittle apologists.

He’s now trying to do a Doris. He’s demanding an enquiry into who leaked his wife’s tax details, strangely by the same person who cleared Johnson.
This will kick it into the long grass, again. So all we can expect is the. “Can’t talk about that, it’s undergoing an enquiry” So all that info about her somewhat tragic and lucrative business enterprises….will be beyond
questioning…. plus ça change
 
This is merely a matter of whether Sunak has a conflict of interest that promotes his own gain over what is best for the country as a whole, he and his family have benefited to the tune of several hundreds of millions of pounds thanks to decisions and policies that fall under his remit, if it looks like nepotism, talks like nepotism and smells like nepotism then it's probably nepotism.

The timing and nature of the disclosure seems to be the typically Johnsonesque method of discarding someone once they have served their purpose to him or once they begin to overshadow him, the Eton bully boy who will never change, remember it's a matter of weeks ago he was launching Operation Big Dog, asking others to fall on their swords so that he could retain power and control.

I used to think that being Prime Minister was a game to Johnson that he’d soon bore of and give up, but I think I underestimated just what a pernicious and egotistical man he really is, he won't go until he's pushed and, not unlike Trump, even then he'll do all he can to hang on to power, a dangerous narcissist who will happily destroy and discredit anyone or anything that may weaken that grip on No.10.

Unless she's forced to rush home to her real place of residence in India to tend to her ill billionaire parents of course. It must be difficult to pin down exactly when she'll be home (and in which home).....
