If you're lucky enough to be on a fixed rate deal, then no, you don't need to.Not unless you're still on a fixed rate deal?
Yes I'm fortunate but only a little bit.If you're lucky enough to be on a fixed rate deal, then no, you don't need to.
But, if like me, your energy supplier went bust, got moved to a new supplier without a decent fixed rate deal, then yes, take a reading.

My monthly payments go from £130 to £230 per month. That's a big jump.Yes I'm fortunate but only a little bit.
My deal runs out at the end of June so I'm getting two months at the cheaper rate.
After that my variable monthly payment is forecast to be £194. Not sure how that compares with others but it's a big hole in the family budget
i wouldnt put it past suppliers crashing their sites on purposeMy monthly payments go from £130 to £230 per month. That's a big jump.
Trying to get onto the Eon website, looks like it's crashed. Everyone trying to input their meter readings at the same time.

They'd get screwed for doing that, it's the kind of thing that people say like "brown envelopes at the planning meeting" that doesn't really actually happen. It's more because websites are meant to handle a set load of users and every outlet in the country is telling people to do this today so capacity is overloadedi wouldnt put it past suppliers crashing their sites on purpose

As somebody who was Pro-Leave even I admit now it was probably a bad ideaSurely not, we're supposed to be benefitting from Brexit.
