That’s it then. No Deal

Delusional
You are far too simplistic: any pro Remain = good, and view to the opposite= bad .

It has to be more complicated than that.

Explain to me why our legal system going back almost 1000 years now needs an extra level?
Don't you trust our Supreme court and Judges or is a German judge better qualified?

Perhaps you should direct that question to David Davis, leading Brexiter, who took the UK to the ECJ over it's bulk interception of personal data plans?

I was thinking of Remainers, but really, it's aimed at any of those that can't move on.
How can we move on from a catastrophic event that is in progress? Especially when those that caused it, when pushed, have no idea why they have caused it? Its a ludicrous situation now where the argument for remain grows stronger daily and yet that just makes the brexiteers more dogged in their convictions despite having no reason for them

I still don't meet anyone who thinks it's getting stronger. You go to your tennis club and I will keep going to my working men's club.

Why arn't the Judges at Teesside Crown Court from Teesside?

ST, lets agree you have a point, why is it so important to you that a leave voter "owns" the decision. It makes no practical difference today, so why?

All we can do now is try to understand why we have made such a tragic mistake.

It starts by those who made the mistake acknowledging it has been a mistake. Then we can hold those responsible for leading us into this mess to account. Otherwise we will do it, or something equally stupid, again.
What....... hold 51% of the Brexit Electorate to account?
It was simply a combination of jingositic popularism by the right wing media, supporting opportunistic political nobodies successfully stirring the inbred bigotry of the older generations.

Just hoping the inevitably tragic financial havoc will hit suffiicently to impact the next election.

Are we the only country to have thus issue?

PS I don't have Twitter
Ultimately the head in the sand routine is only going to wash for so long.

As is the tripe that Brexit was some sort of working class revolt against the establishment.

I'm sure our hard of letters friends on this board will continue their contortionism and find a reason as to why this whole debacle was a good idea - but they'll dwindle.

From January things actually change and there's no easy route back. I just hope they eventually gain the decency to admit they were wrong and accept they've ruined lives -whether they're in a Working Men's club, a tennis club or the Bullingdon club.

It would help me make sense of the insanity. Also, if the leave voters can finally admit what Brexit means it'll help our case when we want to try and rejoin the EU.

It's an immensely frustrating thing to be able to see how bad brexit is going and read people like @Same_as_before almost revelling in their own ignorance of the situation. The country won't be able to heal and repair until Brexiteers can:
A- provide a tangible benefit of brexit that outweighs the negatives (spoiler alert, they haven't been able to for four years)
Or
B: admit they might be wrong or their sunlit uplands aren't what they were expecting.

I am ignorant on a lot of things. And yes it's Bliss. Is the Peso up or down today?
It must be, up until the day you lose your job because of vrexit. I guess I should pity the ignorant brexiteer. If you can't see how bad it is and is going to get, it's going to be a shock to you a lot more

Do you really believe this site is representative of this country? For nearly 5 years people tried to give the positives if Brexit, they were bullied off the board.

There is a lad today who tries, he is called a Tory Cnut, clueless, and they are the nicer terms.

Democratic, this place isn't.
