That’s it then. No Deal

Sadly the right wing media apologists and the politicians now have a Brexit scapegoat to last them a decade.
And yes I blame ALL of the politicians..... including the disgracefully farcical fence sitting Labour did right through the whole sorry episode.

Do you really believe this site is representative of this country? For nearly 5 years people tried to give the positives if Brexit, they were bullied off the board.

There is a lad today who tries, he is called a Tory Cnut, clueless, and they are the nicer terms.

Democratic, this place isn't.
And the whinging begins because you've no argument.

Go join COB for a big Brexity circle jerk. That seems more your speed.

It would help me make sense of the insanity. Also, if the leave voters can finally admit what Brexit means it'll help our case when we want to try and rejoin the EU.

It's an immensely frustrating thing to be able to see how bad brexit is going and read people like @Same_as_before almost revelling in their own ignorance of the situation. The country won't be able to heal and repair until Brexiteers can:
A- provide a tangible benefit of brexit that outweighs the negatives (spoiler alert, they haven't been able to for four years)
Or
B: admit they might be wrong or their sunlit uplands aren't what they were expecting.
Why ST, would someone have to qualify their ballot paper to you, or anyone else for that matter. It just comes across as a lot of gnashing and wailing. It doesn't help to heal the divide and it certainly doesn't help to change minds, if anything it will entrench those views.

It sounds, and always has done to me, to be people venting frustration, nothing more nor less. I understand the frustration, but let's not dress it up in something loftier, it certainly doesn't come across as such.

That's simply untrue, every party ,
the government, the CBI, Civil Service , Trade Unions , £5m additional spend were with Remain.

Clearly, you think it is too early to judge. Fair enough.

But if there comes a point where it is clear, will you actually be able to acknowledge it and then try to understand how you got it wrong?
Absolutely Lefty I just don't get people already telling me it is a tragic mistake. Time will tell and either of us may be right but 5/10 years not before transition even done

What....... hold 51% of the Brexit Electorate to account?
It was simply a combination of jingositic popularism by the right wing media, supporting opportunistic political nobodies successfully stirring the inbred bigotry of the older generations.

Just hoping the inevitably tragic financial havoc will hit suffiicently to impact the next election.
inbred bigotry-how rude and ill informed

I have every right to be frustrated. The country i loved and live in has bern destroyed. The people that have caused the damage don't even know why.

You're either ignorant of the problems or you are not. It's not an opinion that if someone is wilfully ignorant of a disaster, they will be shocked when the disaster hits. It's fact
ST you must have called me ignorant 50 times, but I know the difference between fact and: likely hood, chance, supposition, probability.

It is a a fact that Boris was the Prime Minister yesterday and highly likely today as I have not seen the news. Liverpool could be 2 points clear with a goal difference of 30 with a match to go, it is highly likely they will win the league, it is not a fact.

It's very very very likely I will vote Labour at the next election, you I would say possibly.
