That’s it then. No Deal

None so blind
Exactly. Same as before ably demonstrating why people are so upset by people like him.

I actually don't mind ignorance per se. There are lots of subject I'm ignorant on. Its the fact he celebrates it, makes ignorance, and selling out his own county, a badge of honour

You’re happy to live in a poorer country? For no valid reason?
I’ll wait to see what happens. Certainly not losing any sleep over it. Who knows what’s going to happen but if you don’t go you won’t know. I don’t really listen to the ‘experts’ telling me I’ll be worse off or a bus that tells me I’ll be better off because it’s all driven by personal agendas. Not really a fan of the current status quo for myself or my boys future. I’ll deal with whatever happens but change makes me feel more optimistic than carrying on doing the same when it’s not really working just because you are afraid of the unknown. I like the idea of doing something radically different. Leaving the EU rips up the rule book and will change more for this country than flip flopping back and forth between Tory and Labour governments and I find that pretty exciting. That’s just me though, if I had been born a few hundred years ago I probably would of been on some expedition to the Amazon or Artic, life’s too short not to take risks or a leap of faith into the unknown every now and then, it might be the worst thing we do or it might be the best but at least we will know and we tried.

Then we need to put in place measures to ensure we don't repeat these mistakes, which includes some sort of punishment on those who led us into it, the media for not doing their job, putting in place other safeguards but mostly understanding how easily all of us can make a right t*t of themselves, because make no mistake, on a different issue, it could have been most people who voted Remain having their buttons pushed. We really do need to rediscover or re-embrace the enlightenment and science and engage our critical thinking skills.
Jesus christ Lefty, So you are basically saying that you want the option of free thought to be banned and punished? That is essentially what you are saying for anyone that thinks outside the box and challenges the current status quo at the time?....

Seems a bit Stalinist if you ask me.

Not sure why you would want to moderate it?

Heres my position. With all the billions spent on Brexit already, the isolation of our country and with all of us having restricted freedom of movement I belive it to be a bad idea.

If someone came up with a counter argument I'd say fair enough and just deal with the hardship.

The fact that people like @Same_as_before and @Hicktonpen10 are not only unable to come up with a counter argument but actually REVELING in their own ignorance is what I'm rallying against. It's an almost hilarious situation we find ourselves in where so many people can see a mistake has been made and can point to failed trade agreements, money spent and restricted movement as evidence. Yet the people who have forced us into the mistake are seemingly proud of the fact they don't know why. Actually proud to be ignorant. You can't moderate this or bring any reason into it.

People on this thread have sold this country down the river for no valid reason at all and, I'm sorry, I can't forgive them, can't heal, can't repair this rift unless they show some knowledge or concessions.

I'm not going to "be the bigger man" not when so much has gone wrong for so little point.
Because I am fed up with the silly name calling, it achieves nothing. makes no one feel any better and it is a waste of time and energy. If it were 2015 it might have a point, right now it doesn't name calling and slinging mud is pointless and juvenile

I'm angry, in case you hadn't guessed. And my comments reflect that. Whilst people like hickton and same as revel in their own ignorance i have every right to call them ignorant

What on earth are you on about ST. We are having a discussion on a message board and I don't agree with your doomsday scenario. I am not revelling in anything thank you. I was asked to vote in a referendum and I expressed my preference. You disagree. I get your concerns but my point is we havent even left the transition period yet and time will tell. I now read that I should be punished according to Lefty. How very 1984 it all is

It was a public referendum everyone is allowed to vote as they see fit St, same applies to the last election.

You don't know why you voted brexit. Yet you are proud of voting brexit. Ignorance

If you don't jump of a cliff, you never know what will happen. You can be fairly certain though

If you want to compare the two, I’ll happily wager you that we won’t all die the minute we leave the EU like we would if we all jumped off a cliff?

One is killing yourself, the other is leaving a political club...

We know what happens when you jump off a cliff because sadly it’s been done many times before, we’ve never left the EU before so people are guessing what will happen (good or bad) based on their own agenda.

Actually no. Mines based on the money we've already spent on it, the restrictions of movement that are about to come into place and the lack of existing trade deals these are things that have or are about to happen. What is your guess and what is it based know?
