I suspect Billy that cases will start to rise with the loosening of lockdown. I hope to god Johnson doesn't use that to delay releasing restrictions. It should be predicated on hospitalizations and serious cases of covid, not positive tests.

There's also the roll out of lateral flow tests to all households in the country (or at least making them available). That will enable us to find more cases, regardless of whether the overall number actually increases or not.

As of 9am on 16 April, 4,383,732 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the UK.

Positive cases were 2,596 (3,150 on corresponding day last week).

34 deaths were reported today (60 on corresponding day last week)

150,419 deaths with Covid-19 on the death certificate (up to 2 April)

32,574,221 have had a first dose vaccination. 129,782 first dose vaccinations yesterday. 8,931,547 have had a second dose. 417,683 second dose vaccinations today.
